Brooke Rees is an aspiring creative person, currently regretting not going to grad school and constantly contemplating quitting her day job. She graduated in her living room in May of 2020 from William & Mary with degrees in both Film and Media Studies and Psychology. Neither of them have proved to be very useful. While in College, she worked as a production designer with Identity Production Studios and had an internship with the Smithsonian Institute. She has worked on several digital shows including The C-word and The Unofficial Board of Visitors, as well as winning several awards for her participation in her college’s 24 hour filmmaking festival. Now out of school, she uses whatever ounce of energy she has left to contribute writings to the zine she co-founded with creative partner Marriya Schwarz, “Everything But”, as well as work on The Catch Up, and a podcast with some fellow film buffs called “I’m thinking of Watching Things.” Like any white girl, she loves baking and watching shows about murder. She has two pet bunnies, Bagel and Parsley, who are extremely adorable but more importantly make her look very healthy while buying lots of vegetables at Target.
